Well I had like 4 Curves so far, I MEAN I love the phone but the track ball goes after a while. So I thought Id try the storm VZW it too a day to get use to the whole touch screen thing.. but then I just kept droPping calls. So it went back to VZW then back to Sprint and tried a treo pro, now I am back to the 8330 once again..
This might be a device thread or a carrier theard or a social thread so I just posted it in here.

What are you doing that is causing your trackball to go out so quickly and often? Do you work/play in a dirty environment? Need to wash the old hands a bit more?

mine did the same thing, I had to take it apart and clean it every couple of weeks even though dirt never accumulated. I babied it too, and changing trackballs didn't help. then I found that every once in a while banging it on my knee made it work better again.
I think its the mother board there is a slight dome under it and it flattens out after time. I think that's screwing it up. Plus I wanted to try a dif BB and sprint has no otpions for this so I tried VZW but in Green Bay here I dropped damn near every call so couldn't stick wit the Storm I liked it.
