Hey whats up everyone, just got my curve 8320 after giving my pearl to my nephew! I've been using my old razr in the interim, and let me tell you, texting sucks. As a college student, texting is the way I stay sane in class. Suretype was really nice, but now full QWERTY FTW! I don't think I could ever go back to non-QWERTY devices. Wifi rules as I've got UMA set up in my room with my router because my dorm is placed such that anyone's cell phone reception sucks while your in it haha. I lurked here for a while to learn all the cool BB tips, but I figured I should just join already.
Yup, the curve helps in college quite a bit. Last week I did a presentation with powerpoint and instead of putting the file on a flash drive, I put the file on my Curve b/c it has a 2gb microsd card in it. Gotta love that mass storage mode. Everyone thought I was nuts for hooking up a phone to a computer, but I have to say everyone was kinda impressed haha.
Also, even since my pearl days, I hook up the BB to my car's stereo which allows me to browse the contents of the microsd card and play the songs by selecting them on the screen of the headunit. The blackberry never ceases to amaze me.
