    Hi All,

I am new to BB and have recently bought a Storm. I am currently on the CDMA network Bell in Canada and was wondering how I go abour unlocking the GSM part of the phone to work with local gsm pay as you go sim cards.

I also was wondering now that I have setup my gmail account here in Canada on the phone will I have to do the same when I am in Europe or will it work pretty much from the get go?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

You can sign up here for an account. Then add your Gmail email account. You also need to be on a BlackBerry tariff for push mail function to work.

When you are in Europe, you can put in a local SIM card with BlackBerry tariff. You don't have to change anything on the email part, as the email accounts are associated with the phone through the BlackBerry PIN, not the SIM card/service provider you use.
