Is anyone else running 4.5.0.160 ? I searched that and got no hits. I can't be the first person here with this software. I rcvd an e-mail from rim this afternoon, came home, downloaded (slow, took almost an hour), And now I have a brand new O/S.

I'm so excited I MIGHT be the first one to have it I'm probably missing something.

Well, before I could download it, I had to update something else.
"Device Update Software", or something to that effect. Maybe that made the difference? It did not mention whose carrier this O/S was from.

DM informed me of the update - I'm on Telus and DM is d'loading and installing automatically. Will let everyone know how it goes.

Edit: - Maybe I'm wrong here - it could just be updating the device software here too.?.

Edit 2: No, I was right, DM automatically dloaded and installed the update. Am going to check to see what's been updated.

File free memory is about the same as when I upgraded to .138, about 45.

It looks like unless you're a Telus customer reckognized by your pin .160 is not available. I did all the steps and it updated my DM then told me I was running .138 but had .77 checked and selected as preferred.. We have to find a way to download the OS and save it to a mirror for the unfortunate to upload..

    THANK YOU!
I just checked and it's not there. It only shows .138.. I have to admit Verizon sucks when it comes to support or being willing to improve a functional device. Then again look at the Storm they wont even fix a Non functional device..

I'm gonna give it a little while and this provider issue will be worked out. I have faith in the people here to overcome a simple hurdle like this. I just need to work on my patience skills now! This is just another appertizer before the Tour release for me..
