I have contacts in my address book that do not come up when i try to dial their name from the phone .. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you men calling from the address book? In your address book hit options and set to view all. Maybe you have grouped your contacts so they do not all show up..

Lets say I know i have several bobs in my address book but when i type in bob to one of them does not come up

Is there a space before your address entry or is it the same as the other bobs? It shows up in your address book with the bobs? I guess you did not use the groups in contacts?

no it does not show up with the other Bobs and there is no space before the entry

it shows up at the end of my address book after "z"

I would create a new one for him and see if it shows up in the right place then delete the old one.

Have you checked to be sure that you don't have a filter on?
