Where's the love for T-Mobile's 9600 series device? Are there any pictures of it yet?All the newer devices like the Onyx,Storm 2,and even the inferior Gemini have their own Forums but not the Driftwood?
I don't get y its not called the onyx also. If they r the same device. Like when the original curve came out, it was called the curve on every network. Same w the pearl. No big deal, I'm just sayin

Yea, I have no idea why they used a Javelin pic to represent the Onyx. All the other upcoming AT&T BBs are just vague device outlines. Unless you follow BB development closely you'll get confused.

By the way, before the 8300 series (Curve) came out, RIM gave this series the codename(s) "Mama Bear, Papa Bear and Baby Bear." Cute eh?
Anyway, when Rim sent out the Press Release to announce it, that's when, they referred to it as the CURVE.
Is this a "To UMA, or not to UMA"??? It almost sounds like the Onyx and Driftwood will be arriving on the market at just about the same time... and both of them will be 3G, GSM devices.
Supposedly T-Mobile is to get the Driftwood in September with AT&T getting their variant, the Onyx,a month or two later.Nothing's been confirmed yet though.
