    i removed the silver trackaball dock and the plastic nipple that i unhinged it from broke. so now i only have one nipple to connect the front dock to. do you think this will affect the trackball performance?

    It won't I have left the silver clip out by accident one time when swapping bezels and didn't
    Realize for a few hours. Trackball worked fine
