This is the version I've had running for a few weeks on some of my 8820s. Lots of errors and slow. Rolled most of them back to 4.2. Are you guys having problems?

Have had this on my 8820 for at least a couple of weeks...no noticeable problems here.

if i have a unlocked 8820 but i'm using AT&T carrier.. can i still use this OS?

some might ask why would i use this instead of the new OS that just came out.. because i want to use the precision theme that i think requires this OS.

Yes, you can. You just need to delete the vendor.xml file in the folder (C:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader) once you install the OS on your desktop, but before you open the Desktop Manager and try to install it on your BB.

Which theme are you looking to load? Themes are usually OS specific (4.2.2, 4.5) not version specific (.139, .161).

I am running 4.5.0.161 and haven't found any 4.5 themes that don't work.
