I have an 8310 and it did not change.

We have the DST patch on the server, and using the query tool it says my device does not require the patch.

My 8300 went from 1:59 to 3:00. I stayed up to see what would happen.

Go under the help section on mobile blackberry and you can download the patch. And make sure your time on your phone is set to network not blackberry. Hope this helps

BlackBerry and goto support and click link for DST patch or goto mobile.blackberry.com on BB and is link there as well - Curve should not need it but try pulling battery with power on or backup and wipe handheld

Mine did not change when set to TJ, Mexico (-8) - but when set to Pacific (-8) it updated. Maybe they don't recognize DST in Mexico? Mmmm

Essentially it's up to the country to follow Daylight Savings. Legislation passed in the US to adjust Daylight Savings to start earlier and end later (or vice versa, I can't keep it straight). It's only the US that's following the new DST schema while Mexico is probably still using the older one. That's why there are two time zones for GMT -8.
