Well, I'm hungarian, and the Bolds that are sold here have QWERTZ keyboard, but for example, the ones from the USA have QWERTY keyboards.
It's just a matter of "regional setting".
So, those are not old versions, but Bolds purchased elsewhere, and reselled at your country.
BTW, the OS versions can be upgraded easily, so no problemo w/ buying those older versions.
If someone want to risk the no guarantee thing, they will have a nice, cheap Bold, and if they want, they can upgrade the OS.
Yeah, you just have some guys over there selling QWERTZ Bold's is all. Nothing wrong with the phone, just a different keyboard layout. If it's not running 4.6 by the way, I'm wondering what exactly it is running... I didn't think the Bold could run anything less than 4.6.

BTW, I am in Indonesia, we have both versions too here, the QWERYTY and the QWERTZ, the Z ending is cheaper by about USD$50
