Is there a way to prevent the media player from playing audio through the speakerphone if a pair of headphones which were previously connected somehow got disconnected?

Isn't that the way it's supposed to work?

It's possible that it's supposed to work this way but I don't know how to configure this.

The reason I'm asking is I don't want to bother other people studying in the library due to my occasional stupidity (getting up from my desk with headphones still on).

AFAIK, there is no setting that would make the media player do what you want it to do.

Put your BB in your pocket, so it goes where you go...

U can activate the head set when playing media and then put ur head phones in and if they get disconnected the it might just play through the head set worth a try.. I would do it myself but changed my housing and messed up my earphone jack
