I don't have this (Shared/Loader Files and highlight the installed OS (either .132 or .141) click "OK") how should i go about it. I'm running on .141 don't seem to find that on my computer though

not to go against something that is working for you, but doesnt it defeat the purpose of doing the V5 hybrid if you overlay some of the .cod files that are specific to his hybrid with the 5.0 .cod files? From what i understand and i could be wrong, is that there are some specific .109 .cod files in this hybrid that are replace by the 5.0 files....just asking

What exactly don't you have? My suggestion would be to uninstall the OS (thru Add/Remove Programs from control panel) then reinstall .132 (straight .132) then install v5.1 into the OS folder (C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/Shared/Loader Files/9530_4.0.0.162_4.7.0.132 <~~ (this isn't exactly right but you'll see it...I'm not at my computer right now). Restart the computer then wipe your phone and run apploader.

Then install 141 on your computer and try again

I haven't compared the 2 (v5 with the 5.0 vs v5 without the 5.0) so I can't confirm whether some 5.0 files overwrite some .109 files. However, I just looked at my modules and there's still a number of .109 files running...some browser files are .109 and some are 5.0 files...all the phone files are .109...and several other miscellaneous files are .109 still. If you wanna check to see what the 5.0 files are just unzip em and look at em. I haven't spent a whole lot of time breaking down all the files in each build...obviously Lyric and Crackman know what they're doing so I just install and go. But I'm tellin ya....Crackman's v5 with Lyric's 5.0 files is the absolute BOMB!! I have v5.1 ready to go on my computer but I don't have time tonight to install it...its gonna have to wait til tomorrow dammit .

EDIT...its always a trial and error thing with these leaks and hybrids. Finding the best mix for the phone is the tricky part and considering the OS's seem to work differently on different phones, VZW and RIM may have a difficult time finding that 'gold code'.

well then... either comcast is throttling my bandwidth, booting my download, or the server is getting f**kslammed right now. I'm getting 25KB/sec at best, and I'm on a 6Mb/sec connection. This file should be downloaded in about the same time as yours.... if that.

edit: ok... problem solved. not sure what the issue was, but 20 minutes later it finally completed.

So I downloaded the .132 official.. it installed DM all over again ( repair watever )
Then I downloaded the V5.1 and ran that. I went thru app loader and put it onto my phone.
I'm not sure however if it was done correctly as the folder in programfiles/common files/ research in motion/shared/loader files that I pointed it to cause alot of the modules shows .141 and I"m not sure if I"m reading it wrong... but my radio is .109 ? I followed the instructions thats provided

You're gonna see modules from just about every leak. The radio isn't .109. The PHONE is .109. There's a difference. The radio is either .132 or .141...whichever version you loaded. Check the platform (Menu> Options> About. Platform .162 is .132 radio and .174 is .141 radio.
