Anyone have enough experience to know which update works best for the storm 9530? I'm currently running the leaked .141 but have noticed a big drain on the battery. Interestingly enough, I called Verizon today because I was so frustrated with the lack of support and updates for the product. They had a supervisor call me back who pleaded with me to not cancel my contract that they have a big update coming very soon. She said they want the update to be worth the wait and that it will definitely be out over the next 2-3 weeks but couldn't give me an exact date. This brings me back to my initial question, which leaked update works best? Thanks.

I am on .141 and was on .132 and actually don't see much difference battery-wise. It tends to be more 3rd party application related.

Make sure you are closing your programs completely and that you are locking the phone when not in use.

I've also tried both and am currently running .141 but I haven't noticed a big difference. Check to see how many apps you have running. If you have a lot it may drain your battery faster.

I like .132 better. I am on .141 and yes my battery drains faster. Plus I have the mute button bug where if I accidentally mute a conversation I cannot unmute it. It was not there using .132. But this is just my individual phone.

Go look up Hybrids by lyricidal. The 141./5.0 hybrid is heavenly in all aspects. I run 3rd party music apps all day and get 50% by 6pm

.141 went fine for me, but the hybrids offered me riches beyond my wildest dreams, so i went for it...you could always load 'em yourself and try them out and see what YOU think, everyone's experience will be different based on location and hardware differences and usage.

.132.......141 can't use quicklaunch, and the screen rotation is slower than .132

Yes, you can unmute it by selecting "BB Menu", then select "turn off Mute".

each storm react different ways when installing Leak OS. I've had 75/113/131/132/ and finally 141 hybrid and the battery life still the same.

i figured out that my battery life issues were my actual BATTERY not the software running...have you considered swapping batteries? call C/S, they should be able to offer you something.

I don't know over all I have been pretty happy with .141. I wish we could just go to 5.0 and be done with 4.7....

Thanks for the work around. I should've thought of that before.
