I can't get the VZ Navigator to work or even start at all. When I click on the icon, it shows the green screen with the VZ Navigator logo on it, then it doesn't go anywhere else. I ended up uninstalling it. Any ideas on why it wouldn't work? BTW I am using it for T-Mobile and have the full Blackberry Data Plan
VZ Navigator uses aGPS, where the "a" means "assisted", as in location servers, which are on the VZW network. VZ Navigator won't work if it can't connect to a location server. You have to pay for VZ Navigator, either a daily or a monthly fee.
Yes it does work on any network all you need is a data connection

im sorry to say that you are totally wrong. vz navigator is a verizon wireless service, which has a monthly charge collected by verizon wireless. there is no way to use this application on any other carrier besides verizon wireless. so... you do need a data connection (29.99/month) and a vz navigator subscription (9.99)....
I don't think they would call it "VZ" Navigator if it works on other carriers. Check out Telenav if you are willing to pay for turn by turn voice guidance. If you just need directions, BB Maps or Google Maps will do just as well.

Sorry senorstorm, you are totally wrong. I have an unlocked storm on T-Mobile running stock .75 OS and runs VZ Navigator flawlessly...and for FREE! Voice navigation, the whole nine yards.

I forgot where I saw it but there was a thread on one of the forums that had numerous people that had it working on T-Mobile. I have been using it for a month and it works great.

Thanks for the link. I reinstalled VZ Navigator, tried it again, and it gave me an error. I checked the APN sttings and changed it, restarted VZ Navigator, and it downloaded and booted up like a charm. Thanks guys.
I'm having a little trouble getting the navigator to find my position.
