Is there any way to disable the missed call dialog? I simply have no use for that dialog since I already have the phone icon on my home screen.

I did search and didn't find anything on the subject.

If you are referring to the "You have missed a call" with the option to view or cancel then that answer is no. If you are referring to the text message that states that you have missed a call then yes.

open your phone up>options>call logging set to none.

That still displays the dialog. It just doesn't show the missed calls in the message folder.

Then the answer to your question is no. Personally I would never notice the missed call icon at the top of the screen.
