    Heya guys,

First off all - I'm new to the whole blackberry thing going on, just had my 8900 for about a month now, and gotta say, it's the best phons I've ever had. Not only it's great, the bb community is even better! Crackberry is a sweet website, nothing I couldn't find around here. Kudos to all

Second of all - as the title says, i tried searching around the website, and all i found out is that 32gb cards are supported but not yet on the market. Now that we're in May, I managed to find out some cards off ebay (not in local stores yet).
Just posted to ask if it's worth getting a 32gb card and someone that's using it, maybe any feedback whatsoever. I have over 40gbs (right now I only put around 3/4gb on my bb) of mp3s, and I like to carry southpark with me all the time, and I've been saving photos since ever, so data piles up.

    Any feedback appreciated.
    Thanks

If you are asking us if it is worth it, than it really is what you think you'll need it for. I currently have a 2GB, in which I love my phone so much I just ordered a 16GB. I use my phone as a camera and as a mp3 player. So, to me, 16GB will be quite enough since I swap out my songs every other week.

I grabbed a 8GB cause I have a 32GB ipod touch with all my music on it. It just comes down to personal preference, if your going to use it then I say go for it.

32GB cards are not yet available. The highest you can get currently is 16GB. It all depends on the specific user, get the most you can afford that will fit your specific needs.

I have a 16GB card in my 8900 which is basically full. I would pick up a 32GB if it was under 80 so that I could use my phone as my only MP3 storage/playback device.

    You have IMO two options:

    1. Get the largest memory card you can afford....now
    2. Get something small like a 2 GB cheap and wait for the 32 GB to drop, I would expect it before the end of the year, but who knows!!

It just depends....I have a bunch of memory cards that I don't use anymore because every time a new on dropped i would buy it. So I am trying to live with my 8GB until the 32 drops, but the 16 looks really good right now

I have a 8GB that I kept from my storm. i have never filled it up because I use it for music and pic's only. But I would love to have video's so I might pickup the 16GB. Is Ebay probably the best price?

I would wait if you can... 2 things will happen when the 32GB drop.... they will of course be available for you and... the 16 GB will drop in price

If you can not wait... then go ahead I know it has been hard for me to hold off.

Yeap, they sure are... and they work great, but ---- they're gonna be $350. Which is pretty gosh darn pricey.

Most definite the price tag will be set high at first. I would not like to put a dent on my wallet, so i will wait to cop one when the price is right...

I have an 8gb and so far it's efficient. It was only $20 too. So by the time I need a 32 hopefully that will drop in price.

Dude, you should get the mSDHC 16GB, if you interested to load the videos into your BB. For MP4's video compression is larger than 3GP's compression when you choose MP4. Yeah of course, you can find a good deal on ebay from between 39.99 and 55.99 for (mSDHC) 16GB.

I'd be really suspicious of any eBay sales of 32G SDHC cards.... I'm sure you will see them on reliable websites sometime this year, but I will NEVER purchase one from eBay... wait for NewEgg, BestBuy or Amazon to start selling them, and buy one from one of those reliable stores.

The software I use is Videora for BlackBerry and iPod; I stick with MP4 conversion due to better quality.
