I switched out the bezel on my bold and it already had a black trackball in it from the guy I bought it from, when I tried to put it back together everything works fine but the trackball is messed up when I try to go down it goes up or just randomly jumps around I don't know if there is a special way it needs to be or what please help

Try reinstalling. Maybe it did not seat properly.
