So i downloaded the BerryBuzz 7 day trial for free (while using OS .75.)
I then updated to .132 and it renewed my 7 day trial, and then 7 days later i swiched to .141, and it renewed again.
so my conclusion is that everytime you update it you the the app for 7 more days, and its free.
So there is a free app that normally costs like 6$ or something
Oh man. Here I thought it was a contest. I can use it, could have. I think this is for all apps? Because I guess you overwrite all the files? I don't know for sure.

Well, if you really care the same thing happens with QuickLaunch. And even though I did find it somewhat handy, I didn't feel it was worth the convenience key or the $5-6. I'm no angel myself when it comes to paying for all my software, but geesh. It's $5 or so. Pay up creep!
I've known about this trick for almost as long as I've had a BlackBerry, but it doesn't work on every app. I actually learned about it from a developers website in their faq concerning a trial extension. It has to be known to every developer who offers a free trial and the abuse of which is considered and allowed for. So, I won't flame you for using or sharing this info, and I hope others won't sink to that level either. Beyond personal ethics, my time is worth more to me then the cost of most apps that I want, and I'm sure that holds true for most people who have a berry. It is a productivity tool after all

Its pricey for an app, that chages the color of your LED.
I dont care what you say if im cheep but 6dollers for an app?
If it was $2 id buy it.
Not 6$
Its easy coding pick up a text book for 6 dollers.
Here's a grand idea. Buy yourself a textbook for $6 and write your own custom LED app rather than screw with independent developers.
$6 for something you use every single time you get a call, email or text is not exactly overpriced. We're not talking about a game or utility you use once a week or once a month.
it very well might work for all apps that offer a trial version. and it saved me 6$ so im not complaning.
Saved $6, but dropped how much on the phone and how much more for monthly service? I figure if you spend 2 minutes every 7 days refreshing the app that's about 100 minutes (or 1.5 hours) over the next year you'll spend. Per hour, that's $4 - my time is worth more than that
