Hello there!

Does anyone know of an alternative to Paypal/eBay to pay for BB App World purchases?

I don't want to give Paypal anymore business. They always put a 21-day hold on items I sold on eBay despite me being a member for so many years with 100% positive feedback.

I wish RIM could work out an alternative secured payment client or carrier billing arrangement, or a third party application, to process payment for App World purchases.

sadly I really wish they would let me use my google wallet account. It is easier, cheaper and way more friendly than paypal. I hate the way paypal treated people like they owned them and could lord over them.

I'm on Telus and I used a prepaid credit card for BBAW purchases. Now I use my prepaid credit card for purchases in Play Store.

in app world , you just go to my account and change your payment type there

I'm using carrier billing. It depends on your carrier whether they provide carrier billing or jot but you can set it in appworld or go to options>device>payment and billing.
