Hey, I just ordered the Curve 8900/T-Mobile and I am very excited, this is my first blackberry device and can't wait to get my hands on it. I was wondering what are the "must" haves for the 8900?

BSE = Best Skins Ever. (full body skin protectors)

Besides themes and a few free apps, i love my 8900 the way it is. (with a case and a skin protector)

For cases I'm going with the Innocase II (there is the 360 as well, but I don't want to cover up my keyboard)

And apps-wise I'd recommend checking out freeware apps (just try them, if you hate them, delete them), and for paid apps; quicklaunch, berrybuzz

If you do much surfing, I would recommend Bolt Browser. Unless you really want a better case, the one that comes with yours should protect just fine. If you plan to use gps, download google maps. Viigo is popular as well.

Thanks for all the replies, I have definitely been looking into a protection cover for my BB.

Also I was wondering if the 8900 can stream flash videos online, or maybe a app that allows this?

FIRST PRIORITY: GET A BSE. They make very nice screen protectors/full body skins.

I just got this aluminum case for my 8900 so I can leave it safelly in my workplace... (metal constructions industry) It is AMAZING! adds little weight and volume, it actually looks so nice that I can leave it in there all the time!

There are a lot of great things out there... and most of them you can get for a free trial period (usually a week)... I really like having AutoStandby, GoogleSync, GoogleMaps, Viigo, Vlingo and BerryBuzz.

But always remember how to find http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/popu...d-links-21096/... it's one of the sticky threads in the Blackberry Discussion forum.

    GoogleSync & Maps.
Can't really say I've installed much else that you'd call "must have". But get the charging dock, it's pretty awesome.
