If you guys are anything like me, you are supremely annoyed at smear marks on the face of your BlacKBerry. What method do you use to clean your device and how often?
Also, I had a Pearl before the Curve. I didn't clean the Pearl very often and had problems with the trackball about six months in. I clean the Curve almost daily and have had zero trackball issues in about eight months. I use disinfecting wipes from the hospital I work at which are soaked in a low concentration of isopropyl alcohol.
I have a storm, and I installed Ghost-Armor to protect the whole phone from scratches. Then when the outer protective coat needs a wipe, it's basically just a wet (water squeezed out) paper towell.
The best cleaner I found is one that is made for electronics. The product is Endust for electronics. It is a anti-static, cleaner and dusting spray. They make wipes too that I use on my PC.I find putting the spray on a cloth or paper towel allows me to control the amount of liquid applied to the phone where as the wipes are saturated out of the container. I use the Endust first then let dry and go over with a micro fiber detail cloth. I think you will find this to work well and safely on your device.
It seems like many ppl are skipping the disinfecting part of cleaning your berrys. This is truly the most important part! Eyeglass cleaner probably has ammonia in it so that's adequate, but computer wipes & watered paper towels won't get all the germs off. Antibacterial wipes or any type of cleaner that says it disinfects is what you need to kill the hundreds of germs that thrive on phones.
