Who gives a crap what the president used to make phone calls on. I watch 24 enough to know that they're on hard lines most of the time. I mean honestly does Barak need to bbm people? Other than that my dads razr can do calander functions just like any other phone.
lol 50 minutes to get emails.... they made it an iPhone.
550$ without a contract... like that matters the government is paying for it.
button to switch security off. pointless.
actually we are paying for it. but how great that the president choose the BB over that expensive phone the sectera, this is more coverage for BB users, umh but then again now any person will probably want to have one.

Not to mention they clearly stated it's not available or going to be available on the market for anyone else. Why would the price matter what so ever? Totally irrelevant haha.
Is the ObamaBerry even going to be on a network? I don't think POTUS is ever far from the communications truck, or Air Force One, or an AWACS plane, or some other cutting-edge communications hub.
It probably doesn't matter what interface makes him most comfortable. They could run any sort of smartphone or PDA he wanted.
I wonder how long it will take for someone to break the encryption.
They will not. It will be constantly changing. Daily, hourly, as required. Press a button and change it.
Battery life will be horrible but it won't be overheard.
Random variable length encryption, CDMA, frequency agile, multi frequency, frequency agile, stutter, possibly burst mode too althogh that would be hard on a real time phone. You name it.
The real question is, will he join CrackBerry in his copious free time?
