I am having issues with Shazam on my AT&T 8300. I have tried several installs/reinstalls but keep getting error #1171 "Shazam can't connect to the internet. It might be a problem with your mobile's connection." I have set the permissions to allow and still no luck. before I get the error "MDS" and "mds" flash in the top corner of the screen.

1171 means "Failed to transmit" and probably due to service book issue. See if you can get your service books re-sent to your device after deleting the existing ones. Do not delete the existing service books until you find a way of getting them re-sent either by speaking to your operator or logging onto your instant email portal or similar.
