Just curious what I need to do to use my Bold in the US? Thanks!

An unlock code. Call Rogers and tell them you're traveling and need an unlock code. I've heard on here that people have done it easily through them.

If not you might need to pay for it. Like on horizonwireless.com which is a good and trusted site.

just an FYI, i've heard rogers is tight and won't provide them, but that AT&T gives them out like candy from a red panel van.

Plan choices:
ATT > 3G, charge for tether, higher $BB plans then TM, no BB maps

TM > EDGE, free tether, lower $BB plans then ATT, BB maps

Other than that the BOLD works fine in the US

TM > EDGE, free tether, lower $BB plans then ATT, BB maps roundabout method to get a working browser $40 unl. BIS and mesaging

Other than that the BOLD works fine in the US

I thought the no tether was with ATT personal bundle @$50 and with tether @60/month.

I use TM with an older (ask for) unlimited BB email/internet plan @$20 w/tether.
There is also a TM unlimited BB email/internet w+400msg@$25
The BB browser works for me... I just set the font to LARGE

there is a way to tether for free with ATT if you dont go overboard with it
