Hey everyone,

I was using my storm today, you know browsing Crackberry, when all the sudden everything became distorted. The top part of the screen was on the bottom and pieces of the image were all over, and it looked like a real mess. It would not correct itself until I did a battery pull, and then it happened again. All my programs were giving me garbled looking displays. This doesn't happen all the time, but only occasionally.

Also, when I scroll quickly up or down on a website, I get a gray box that appears and quickly disappears, I'm guessing that it may be the browser just rendering the page (I may just not have noticed it before.) Does anyone else have these issues? I just upgraded to .122 and had never seen these problems before.

Yeah I had my homescreen images look distorted and did a batt pull.

Things were all over the place? Even if you scrolled? Things stayed out of place?

I just wanna make sure that we may of had the same issue.

My homescreen I couldn't really scroll, I think everything had froze but the icons were barely recognizable.

Might of been what I had. I'm holding out hope because I don't want to have to get a refurbished unit (something someone else got rid of, blech =(

Well if this helps, I just got this storm its my 3rd one. Just two days old. Might just be a small OS issue. If it happens again I would downgrade or reload the 0S.

Do a battery pull. Keep the battery out for a few minutes. Then restart.

kinda happened to me.. on a rotation screen got distorted... and i did the usual 8 ball shake and all was fine after another rotation

I've seen this several times before. Happened today while my wife was calling. Couldn't answer the phone and had to battery pull.

if you take it back to the carrier and they see your running an OS thats not official can they refuse to take it back??and give you a another????

Yes they can gatorfan, but many techs won't check and if you're worried about it, you can always downgrade.

I never saw this before with .75, since jumping to 122 I get it a couple times a day. Sometimes its a full lockup and sometimes just flashes.

Never had a problem with screen distortion, but the gray boxes appear when I scroll rapidly up or down a webpage.

I have also seen this and the only fix for me is battery pull. It usually happens about once a week to me, but I have not had it since upgrading the java files to .131
