I don't know if this is just me but, I was really loving the calender integration with Facebook on my 8900. I finally just decided to upgrade my os from .114 to .206 to find that my calender integration isn't working. I tried a battery pull already and still doesn't fix the issue. When i go into the calender i can see the Facebook calender but it is empty.. anyone else having this issue??

thats why I aint going to upgrade from .114 to .206.. .114 is more stable than .206 or any upgraded versions. I am happy with .114.

yea I just went to .199 and still no calender integration... I'm going back to .114 as i type this

That depends on what you do. Ever try getting a consistent, steady call using .114's radio code and UMA over Wi-Fi? It's crap. .206 is the first version I've had that consistently has good quality and doesn't drop my UMA calls. Not to mention the speed of everything is faster than with .114, for me.

I had Facebook 1.5 when I had .199 and upgraded to .206 and I didn't have any issues with calender integration.

.206 is a very stable OS. UMA calls and the switching over is great.

You can't be serious?? Any upgraded versions....?? My, my....OS .114 is in no way, shape or form more stable than .206. How boring....I think I used .114 for about 2.5 days. I use FB everyday and that would hardly make me downgrade just because the "calendar integration" isn't working. Oh well, any excuse not to upgrade especially when you've never tried ANY other OS...

please just using your own little commonsense. I can't hear nor talk phone via UMA.. I using email, internet, IMs the most with my own eyes and fingers to typing keyboards. it going very smooth and stable without problem.. why should I upgrade? Mm.. I do understanding whats your situation with UMA issue. I glad that you got solved with it when you upgraded from vierson OS.

I upgraded from .114 to .206 and have no problems what so ever. Facebook calender works just fine.

I figured it out.. I had to go into Facebook and go thru the contacts and click refresh BlackBerry contact. That fixed the calender issue for me, with that being said I am back on .206

I have never updated my OS in the past... not sure how and when i should do this...

Previous firmware had poor battery life. I recommend anything .168 and above. .206 works well for me.

The today screen only shows calender appointments from the default calender. I don't think there is a way to set the facebook calender as the default.

My calender entries are not showing up after upgrading to 1.5.... I meant with my "today" themes.

If I set the calender entry to a "facebook" item then it does show up on the today themes.

i am with rogers and i am using the stock os and now after i upgraded facebook none of my calendar items show up in my today themes... ?????

and i did not sync facebook to anything (contacts, calendar and phone book)

Just go into Options > Advanced Options > Default Services and change the Calendar from Facebook to whatever your main Calendar is and that should fix it

anyhow im not really impressed with the update... nothing huge over the last version.... iphone still rules

if i want to go back to the first version where do i dl it???
