This is my third OS update. Progressively getting to the golden egg IMO. Memory is very stable. Battery has always been very stable. What's most impressive is the response time the device has now. Not nearly the lag time that I have been accustomed to with previous leaks.

The poll asks an incomplete question. Worth the upgrade from what version? I upgraded from .113 and so far haven't really noticed a difference. If you're upgrading from .75, though, might be a different story.

This is a very important question. I, too, upgraded from .113 - and have even contemplated going back because of the radio being quirky...

I'm on .113 and I'm not sure I want to upgrade unless there is a noticeable difference.

.122 Is like a whole new phone. I installed the new 5.0 hybrid on my friends phone and he was upgrading from .75...he said it was an amazing upgrade and that he wanted to pay me for doing it. It makes life as a Storm user bearable.

Same here. I actually tried .122 and my phone went haywire. I guess its different for each phone. Besides this .122 wasnt even made for verizon.

No problems yet! Am running the slimmed down hybrid by OneofakindPC with the 113 radio. Had it installed since 4/8. Did a wipe first and intalled. Used the Leaked 113 install folder as a base.

Coming from .75 this is a complete 360!

It makes me not want to throw it whenever I press the screen!

    I would definitely recommend it.

A 360 puts you back in the same place. I think you meant a 180!

.122 has been the most responsive OS I've run...and I've tried every one so far. I highly recommend it.

you ment to say 180 right? otherwise the 360 put you right back you started.

I upgraded to .113 and have noticed a huge difference. Th only thing I noticed that I don't like is, when my phone rings and I push send to answer it the ring gets even louder and I have to wait a second or 2 before I answer it. Anybody have advice on how to fix this. With that one problem I would still upgrade immediatley.

Coming from 109 I noticed an overall increase in speed and performance. Better on memory for sure. Battery life seems the same but that will take more time to know for sure.

Had radio and battery problems to start with but they seem to have disappeared.

Used less than twenty per cent of battery after thirteen hours off charge today, with some emailing, browsing and a few phone calls. Very happy with that.

Without a doubt this update has made me fall in love with my Berry all over again!
Im with Bell and am upgrading from .76 and the difference is amazing.
The call qualitiy and realiability is great, battery life is a bit better and the device feels snappier.
The only bad part is the colour banding is still there.

had the 113 hybrid and it so far I am happy I did so:
    1. In 113 and the hybrid I had issues with my phone not wanting to go back to portrait from landscape. 122 seems to have a nice balance and great response time.

    2. Memory out of the gate seems way better. I use MeterBerry to watch over my memory (yes I am one of "those guys") and I was dipping below 20 by this time every day, right now I am at 40.8 megs and have been reading ebooks, using Viigo, Weather Berry is on, AP News has been read....very very happy about this!!!

    3. Have not spent enough time on the phone to give you a fair review of the radio, same with battery life (left it plugged into USB cable and forgot).

Anyway, overall a nice solid improvement and I for one am a happy cracker...wait that did not come out right.

I actually prefer the 3.5 hybrid. It was perfect for me. I have been running .122 for about 11/2 days and it seems to lag more than the 3.5. I said that I would give it 48 hrs, but I think i'll go back in the morning.

I think for anyone to suggest that .122 isn't worth it compared to what is out there currently, must mean that they haven't really tried .122 or are in serious need of a replacement Storm.

.122 + the Storm is the absolute best the device has to offer until we get a more advanced OS release.

Full battery pull and everything? I forgot to do the batt pull and was like "man I only 27 megs of memory..." ever since the pull it has been above 35 when normally I am low 20's.

I went from .113 to .122 before the actual OS was out (the Bell .122 cache files installed in .113 and reloaded) and have been WAY pleased with it... definitely the best I've tried yet and I've tried most of them. I am still unable to forward picture messages though. is there anybody here with a clean official install of .122 that can say whether or not forwarding picture messages works? I'm DLing the Bell Mobility .122 right now and guess I'll install this weekend and test. Oh, BTW, my memory was always REALLY low (3MB-5MB! ) and I think its been much better but not sure if it is that or the fact that I have installed the QuickPullV2 and have it scheduled to reboot my phone each night while I'm asleep... probably helps.

Anyway... I think .122 is GREAT!
