Alright I know Im not the only bond fan. so lets hear it who is your favorite bond and why? coolest gadget? hottest bond girl?

I guess I have to go first.

I like all of the Bond actors except George Lazenby he sucked. my order for the rest are as follows. Craig, Brosnan, Connery, Dalton then Moore. The aston martin db5 is my favorite car/gadget of all time. hottest bond girl.....thats hard. old bond girl... domino from thunderball. newer bond girl.... uh... I really think agent fields (the red head) from Quantum of Solace was gorgeous.

    ok your turn.

Connery was the best. Hands down. The character he potrayed was an egotistical, womanizing, @ss kicking, unstoppable agent. Everything Bond truly is.

    Great thread idea for sure.

Bond - I guess Connery then Brosnan. (Craig's not bad...)
Gadget - Impeller boat in world is not enough and the car-controlling cell phone from TMD (I think?)
Girls - That is a hard one. Eva Green was hot in Casino Royale ...

Connery was a great Bond for sure; as he is a great actor in general.

However I think it's important to note that each actor who portrayed Bond's role...did so according to the way Bond was supposed to be portrayed in that particular part of the the Bond story. So if you enjoyed that part of the Bond story that Connery was a part of...you'll like him.

Daniel Craig for example is part of the Bond story that in essence starts the Bond saga. He portrays how Bond could actually fall in love and develop feelings for women (as it was shown in Casino Royale: where the woman he loved died). This beginning/part of the Bond saga shows that Bond too has a 'weakness'; and because of this weakness being exposed...it developed his 'player/a**hole/womanizer' approach to future women in his character and storyline development...because he is afraid of 'falling in love'; rendering him vulnerable to accomplishing the tasks (objectively) at hand.

I amore the entire Bond series.

Roger Moore ihen Pierce Brosnan. I can't think of one gadget as they're all awseome. Favourite Bond Girl would be Deniese Richards. Back then she was fine.

That's exactly why Connery is my favorite. I like the fact that the Connery potrayal didn't have any emotion except lust of violence and women. I'm not a huge fan of the newly acquired sensitive Bond character (although stuntwork and effects are amazing in more recent pictures).

I had never seen a Bond movie before this year. However, I've seen all the Austin Powers films (at least one regretfully).
So....my fiance tried to get me to watch one of the old Bond films.
I just *couldn't* watch it. It was too much. Heh.

the new bond (craig) is more true to the bond in the first books. with a modern style and awesome action. connery was a hard core a whooping machine and it was awesome too. i kinda feel bad for saying this but i hope more womanizing comes in the later bond movies so he gets back in to the swing of things

For sure. And let's through some young blood in there too - Megan Fox, Jessica Alba (man, I could go on and on ...)

I know what you mean; womanizing is Bond's fuel. With as many women as Bond has slept with...I think he just might be a walking and a**-kicking seafood buffet.

Haha well I don't know where Austin Powers fits into this...he's Bond on paint thinner fumes. I don't have to know your fiancee to know that he's a testament to what part of a real man should be; which is to attempt to get you into Bond; however futile the attempt was .
