I searched the forums and found some answers but one thing I'm always confused about is hearing people mention to send in the service books. What does this exactly mean and how would I do this if I have to?

What does this exactly mean and how would I do this if I have to?

Log in to your carrier blackberry site/portal and there will be an option to
"re-send service books"
Click this and it will replace the service books on your blackberry with a fresh version, perhaps yours have become 'confused' or corrupted
