    Go nuts!
Gonna try to keep the action going here on the crackberry forums

All my work has been slimmed down, for those who are not similar with how this works or need help with installion of the standaloneCheck this out

    Installation Notes
Upgrading from .113 is easiest. (Links below)
.113 Official (FileFront) or .113 Official (MEGAUPLOAD) or .113 Official (SendSpace)

    if you're upgrading from .113
    - Make sure .113 is installed.
    - Run the Hybrid Installer.
    - Update.

if you're upgrading from stock .76/.76
    - Download .113 Official (FileFront) or .113 Official (MEGAUPLOAD) or .113 Official (SendSpace)
    - Install .113
    - Download Hybrid Installer.
    - Install using the installer that corresponds to your Windows OS
    - Update
(This is why: Only reason .113 is required to go from stock is so that you have a registered upgraded OS installed on your PC (mainly in your registry). You then upgrade that one to become .122)

    if you're upgrading from .114
    - At Browse screen change 9530-v4.7.0.113_P4.0.0.144 to 9530-v4.7.0.114_P4.0.0.143
    - Install using the installer that corresponds to your Windows OS
    - Update

    if you're upgrading from .109
    - At Browse screen change 9530-v4.7.0.113_P4.0.0.144 to 9530-v4.7.0.109_P4.0.0.136
    - Install using the installer that corresponds to your Windows OS
    - Update

if you're upgrading from anything lower:
    - At Browse screen change 9530-v4.7.0.113_P4.0.0.144 to 9530-v4.7.0.###_P4.0.0.###, where the #s are replaced by your version and platform
    - Install using the installer that corresponds to your Windows OS
    - Update

If the update doesn't show up:
    - Delete the Vendor.xml file, as this is the cause of many people's updates not showing up
    its in: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader"
    - Make sure you have .113 installed or you changed the Browse folder to your latest OS folder (See above)
    - Make sure you are using the right installer: x86 = 32-bit and x64 = 64-bit

    122v1 with installer (.exe)
New installer is up. Must have .113 to upgrade. It's very simplified.
Link is http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/OneOfaKindDPCHybrid.exe (for x86 users)
    [x64 is uploading] http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/OneO...CHybridx64.exe
Old installer has been renamed to http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/OneO...DPCHybrid1.exe for those that would like to try that one, but I firmly believe the new one is easiest!

Themes I posted pics of the black and red theme, since they're all similar to this one.

The themes were designed to be a black and red theme, but to keep everything very minimal to give you the ideal performance. although I do recommend using the default zen theme, this is a nice alternative that won't do much to your memory.

Are these the same files as the ones you posted a while ago and referenced to in the first link? Just asking because I just started installing that 5 minutes ago along with the 113 radio.

How To Use Installer: (Tried to simplify as much as possible, any questions, I will modify and add to this)
    1. Download it
    2. Put it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.XXX_P4.0.0.XXX (XXX being the most up-to-date platform/OS you've got installed.)
    3. Run the exe file (Some may need to Run as Administrator, depending on your Windows)
    4. Click Download (Let it be for a bit, it is not frozen, it is downloading) Once its done, it will give you a message.
    5. Click Install. It will extract the .rar file over what you currently have installed and give you a message.
    6. Launch Loader.exe and update your Storm

    Now the hybrid:
running this for a couple of hours, leak is minimal, better than just the .122 + 109 radio I was running before
accelerometer is 113 at its best, battery drain is steady below 3%, boot was 54.2mb, hasn't gone below 48mb, playing with browser, bbm, and bluetooth

and no problem FictionWeLive, glad my tools are useful

    Much better than useless tools...lol!

I'd download this, but I don't feel like doing another update after less than a day on .122! I do have an earlier version of the red theme though...it's awesome!

Ok, I'm running the basic .122 drag and drop file swap. What's ur recommendation to modify to this OS? Just out of curiosity, are there any file fragments floating around (or will this create any on my device) that will become potential pull-my-hair-out, frustrating bugs? Just asking. ;-)

    Will look into that,
was it when you clicked Install or Download?

I'm working on 2 new installers (1 for x86 and one for x64)

Man, there shouldn't be any flame spraying on here, especially since people are going out of their way to help make our BB's the best they can be and there is going to be questions. I think the ones that do the spraying forget their rankings said "Newbie" at point too.

Any idea what I need to do to change over? I went from .113 to .122 last night via the ole drag and drop...nothing else done. Do I need to downgrade again, or can it be done from where I am now?

First, I appreciate the your patience. You said mainly the .113 folder. Are you referring to the Java or CDMA folders or the main OS folder with the .122 java and cdma subfolders already in there? Thanks, man.

I mean the main OS folder, as the installer points directly to it and overwrites your old install
