- Anyone else hear about the new outrage on sexing? This is the first that I heard of it. I saw a little bit about it on the news that kids in school are sending naked pictures back and fourth and they are calling it sexting LOL. Well if your dumb enough to do it and in school then you get what you ask for03-23-09 05:22 PMLike 0
- Yeah I saw it on the Tyra show. Its like a bunch of high school girls with too much free time and low self esteem

Well then boys will be boys and show their friends who show other people who then put it on the internet. Guess they don't have much of a brain to be thinking. Its always something.03-23-09 05:28 PMLike 0

Haha, so true... It's either her or Dr. Phil. Then two years later Geraldo will have documentary on it.03-23-09 06:32 PMLike 0 - Actually, there was recently a girl in one of the school in my area who sent naked pictures so her boyfriend. I forget what happened, either they broke up, or he left his phone somewhere, but end of story; all six schools in the area have seen the pictures by now. Also, on my sisters boyfriends phone my cousin and I found pictures of a naked girl from a different school. Funny story.03-23-09 06:34 PMLike 0
- i mean its nasty but i dont see what the big outrage is...its the parents fault for not guiding their children not to do stupid things like that. but also the kids' faults for not making good decisions and for being dumb enough to make bad decisions while in school.03-23-09 06:38 PMLike 0

- Teenagers do stupid things. Sometimes it's an issue of parental non-involvement, and sometimes it's about weak-willed, wanna-be-liked, teenage girls (raised by weak-willed, wanna-be-liked women who had nothing to impart) wanting to fit in and be liked by "boys". Grown women can relate, too. So, let's not act like we don't "know".
If you raise your kids "right", and they actually come out...right, thank the good Lord for that (or if you're an atheist, consider yourself "lucky"). No such thing as "perfect parenting", although many parents aren't even on the scale.03-23-09 06:54 PMLike 0 - Coming from a teacher and a parent of two teens, I don't find this topic funny. I have seen with my eyes how vicious kids can be toward one another. Our school district has had several workshops on this topic. Teens aren't mature. You can say that they get what they deserve, but teens aren't able to look ahead 5-10 years in the future (let alone three months when they break up) and the ramifications that those pictures will bring. Same thing with college students and facebook, etc posting pictures drinking and trying to get jobs when they graduate. I tell my students, as well as my own children, don't send anything they would be embarrased for me or their parents to see. For the guys who are reading this post, just think how you would feel finding your daughter naked on someone's phone and then have it passed around like a piece of trash. And for the young girls who think it is all just in fun, you are only cheapening yourselves.03-23-09 06:55 PMLike 0
- Sadly, I don't think teens do think anything is sacred anymore.
It's just a different tine in technology. The girls that are doing this are the same girls that hooked up with anything that hung back in my school days. Just a different method for the same ending.
IMHO, I think some of the parents of these teens need to shove a cell phone up their teen's a** and send a picture of that to everyone with a memo stating "Here's a pic of where your brain is located now". "Your life will soon be the same if you don't catch the common sense bus."
The new "parent/friend" trend makes me want to gouge my eyes out with little debbie cakes.

Yes, we definitely need to teach our kids to think, when they're young. But heck, adults don't get that what you do, in a fit of stupidity, can come back to haunt you.Last edited by Tlynnsmith; 03-23-09 at 07:08 PM.

- that happened in the school near me....3 boys got convicted of distributing child porn, and the girl who initially sent the picture didn't get in legal trouble for anything....The kids should have all gotten in trouble, but not convicted of a felony that will pretty much ruin their lives!!!03-23-09 07:10 PMLike 0
