Don't ask me; I don't know, but Gizmodo seems to think that the Blackberry Storm 2 is coming to Verizon in September! Apparently RIM was in a big hurry!
It's just a rumour for now, but I'm sad that I won't be getting it if it's true!
(mom says that for how much my storm costed her, I'm actually holding on to it for the full contract. I can understand this :P)

The 9520 is just a different version of the Storm.
I'm hoping it's not this rumored phone. That would be boring. I'm hoping for some hardware change:P
I hope Slashgear's source is not confusing the 9520 Storm with WI-FI coming for At&t with what they think is coming for Verizon.
BGR has confirmed the Wifi Storm is coming to Verizon. Let's hope he's right. It will be interesting to see what it looks like since it won't have Surepress.
I don't know if everyone is talking about the 9520(WiFi enabled and have improved HW), but the only thing I wonder is, why Verizon? The WiFi Storm is suppose to be a GSM device.

Its NOT the 9220...its a completely different Strom 2 coming in September for Verizon...Wifi..better camera...and a whole new screen for better typing...wich is alegedly called "TruPress" instead of "SurePress" Boy Genius has comfirmed it

What i heard from a buddy of mine that works for verizon ( not a sales person ) is that its going to have the storm touch screen and a slide out keyboard. Just what i heard though.

I really hope they push it back a few months because I just got mine on Jan and I want the new one
I still don't believe big red caved on wifi. This one will probably support it too, but at the last minute VZW will pull the plug on the wifi saying that the network is good enough. Certainly makes going to vzw look like a decent move now... too bad the magnum is more than enough leverage to keep me on the gsm side of the loop.

i will be highly pissed if this is true, i went through a whole bunch of crap to get the storm in the first place and now they're gonna do this???.......
you would only hope that verizon and blackberry would do something for the people who just bought a storm. Kind of like what apple did with the Iphone. I bought mine in January and would be willing to listen to offers!!!
