    I keep my Storm docked and connected to my computer, and for the first time, I got a pop-up that states there is a new desktop software available for my phone.

    Now I've been running 109 since it was leaked and have never gotten any type of notifications like this.

    The update is dated 4-6-2009 and is 111MB. Are you able to tell what version the software is before updating? I don't want to downgrade to 75.

    Sorry if this has been addressed, but I just wanted to know if this was new, or just a mistake.

    I got the same message about new desktop software. I am installing now. I think I had 4.7.0.25 before the update.

    I agree, that is why I specified Desktop Software. Mine is still updating, but it looks like a new version of the Desktop Software is out.

    I do understand that there is a difference between desktop and OS software. Maybe they did come out with a new desktop software. The update sure takes a long time!

    The update says version 4.7.0 and I thought that was my current version of DM.

    At first when I saw the pop up i was like OMG, THE OFFICIAL UPDATE!!!! then I realized what it was and got disappointed ...

    Mine finally finished on my desktop. Its now at 4.7.0.32, so its definitely new. The gui looks a little different, has a couple new options its looks like. It did take awhile to load up though.

    On my laptop, I had to hit check for updates from the Desktop Manager, bottom right. It came right up.
