I'm looking to buy a Curve. I have 2 options.

    1) Buy from a local provider. Since my current provider doesn't offer the phone, I'll have to switch carriers. It's not ideal, but it's a possibility.

    2) Buy an unlocked phone from a reputable dealer, and configure it to my provider's network. I want to investigate this route fully.

    - who are the reputable dealers for unlocked Blackberries?
    - is there anything else I haven't considered that I should be thinking about?

Thanks very much in advance for any information you can help me with.

I have had very good dealings with Unlocked GSM Phones

Prices may be a bit higher than others you may find, but he has been known to be a good seller.

I just bought my unlocked Blackberry Curve from www(dot)gammoth.com Very nice to deal with, and very quick shipping. They also have a 1 year warranty included, besides any manufacturer warranty.

Not saying they aren't legit, but a lot of first time or low post count users have links to sites lol.

    One I trust is CTINYC.
