i have a BB curve 8300 and i have t-mobile and everytime i try to play youtube video i can't play it it says " A problem occurred while trying to render the page".

so if anyone knows how to solve this problem or anything about it please help me out here. thnx.

and my version is v4.2.2.114(platform 2.4.0.53)

Is this actually playing the video, or just going to the website? If you're going to the website, go to m.youtube.com.

If you can't play the videos, it's because Blackberry can only play 3GP format and I believe most YouTube videos are AVI or WMV.

Your problem is the OS (4.2.2.)

I also have trouble viewing youtube videos on my phone. I have the curve 8310 & it goes to the media player & the screen remains black...no video!!!!

Why update? Well if you do not, you cannot view youtube as you are on 4.2 and it won't work for you this is why I advised you to upgrade to 4.5 which would allow you to view video on youtube. Not all are supported fyi if it requires flash you cannot view them. Upgrade and you good to go

ok i upgraded my curve now i can't figure out how to use my memory card it says its not formatted and use a formatted media card??? any one know what that means?

ok i got everything to work except youtube now the video screen pops up but no video or nothing plays just sits there.

Hey, I just did the same thing on my 8300 upgraded to 4.5.0.124, no youtube just a black media player screen. Down graded to 4.5.050 and nothing's changed. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated.

BTW my Curve is unlocked and I am using it with Tmobile. Funny thing is it was working fine as well as iHeart radio. Now neither will work.

Hi, I have never been able to view (youtube) videos on my phone:

ATT Curve 8300 unlocked for Tmobile service
v4.5.0.124 (Platform 2.7.0.92)

I click on 'play video' and it goes to a player but has a black screen. Can someone please advise?
