anyone have any suggestions on GPSed or Mapmytracks.
I'd like to have just one app for GPS Tracking.
However the Features I am looking for are:
    Offline logging
Spoken Pace or mileage announcements (similar to what Nike+ provides)
Ability to compare tracks for training purposes.

GPSed seems great for getting files into formats that can be supplied to other software (gpx files).
Mapmytracks looks promising for comparing tracks, but doesn't allow offline logging, nor does it appear to allow uploading of a track I record with another app

And I am not aware of any (unless mapmytracks does it) app that provides the spoken announcements.

Look at Sanoodi. Tracks off line, uploads to a website for comparison, free - did I mention free and great tech support

gpslogger which is temporarily unavailable also saves gps and googleearth formatted files.

bbtrack or bbtracker was another I think.

Do either of these announce Pace or distance?
Does anyone know if something out there does?
I think I found the perfect app, its just not avb. for BB. RunGPS does all of these things....I just can't use it

    No verbal info in either.

Some folks have "conned' developers into making their apps available for BB. You could try with Rungps

thanks for the suggestion. But it will probably be less work to pull the damn thing out of my pocket and look at the screen.
