I just bought a used Storm (Verizon) which is unlocked and I want to do whatever necessary to change it for use on AT&T. I currently have a Bold and have upgraded it several times (now on v.247), so I sort of have the hang of that.

I've been reading here in the Storm section and it seems like everybody favors OS v.113. I don't know what's best to use for AT&T so I need help there AND on how to get the applications working. I sure would appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks!! Crackberry has been great to me for my Bold and I hope it's the same for my Storm.

Go to the Storm forum hints tricks and FAQs. At the top there's a step by step guide written by pltaylor. Follow that to get up and running on ATT.

Try using os .113. Data doesn't work quite as well, so I ended up using Marcus's Hybrid (found under the Gold Code thread) that uses the .90 radio code and now I get a perfect EDGE connection. However, I've ran into a lot of bugs doing that, but imo, it's just something to get used to.

    Thanks!

I hope you got my love!

Thanks RogueRanger! To answer the Why AT&T part by someone else: Some of us aren't as lucky to have a decent Verizon signal where we live or work. In my case AT&T works for me. I already have a Bold on AT&T, but wanted to try the Storm.
