Remove the battery door, remove the battery, slide the sim card toward the middle. I had to gently use a small screwdriver to get it going.

    I don't have to "unclip"anything?

No unclipping. Just slide it out.

I find it difficult to remove the SIM card out of my Bold as well. I prefer the standard mechanism with sliding SIM card door.

I found it easier to have my wife do it. She can easily do it with her nails

Yea I've used a small screw driver as well to slide it on through. Hey at least its snug in there and doesn't get loose

I use a toothpick, put it to the left of the sim card and push the sim card to the right.

there is a metal bracket on top of the white sim card, does that metal bracket move? how does the sim card come out?

nevermind.. i got it out... i think the best thing to use to take our the sim card is use a small piece of scotch tape. just place the tape on top of the card and gentle slide it out.

Thanks for the post folks. Even a two year old post can help someone! Time for my new 9900, but I had to pull the SIM on the 9000 first!
