Take anything I say on a per device basis. Just like anything running on an OS, each device can vary significantly.

    - Typing lag seems to be much improved.
    - Very fast screen transitions
    - Reboots are much quicker
    - Haven't noticed much an accelerometer speed increase from the latest hybrids.

That's all I have noticed so far, but I have only been running for a few minutes.

The color banding is a little less noticeable (was running the crackman hybrid v2). Mem after battery pull is a few mb higher than it was on the hybrid with all the same apps and same theme. Typing seems fast. Accelerometer is just as quick as hybrid. Screen seems to be auto-dimming rather sporadically. Like always, I will have to see how the battery life is and if the memory leaks before making a final judgement on this build's quality.

Then you might have a hardware problem. Other posts including this one verify that it is working. Mine works GREAT!!

    no?

    I'm confused. I have .114 installed. Why would I load .113?

Maybe because the sfi file is a higher platform. That's the file that makes the biggest difference on OSs.

After battery pull I am at 19.6mb. I am beyond disappointed with RIM and VZW.

edit: I am not disappointed just because of my 19.6 mb, but for a long list of reasons.

Definetely running awesome. Very spunky all in all.
I did notice one oops and its pretty big so I hope this is not VZW next official...

Goto phone as if you where going to type a phone number in to call. my bottom row is half cut off...the 0 # and * are basically right on the bottom line.

You can still press the button but very odd to see this???

I don't have this problem. Hopefully you are alone on this one and it doesn't depend on your portrait view keyboard.

I just tried out suretype and full keyboard an there isn't a problem. There is actually 1mm of extra space under 0, #, and * keys.

I have Weatherbug, links to CNN, Time, softreset as my apps...

    Any ideas?

BTW, typing lag gone, good color depth, speedy accelerometer, even told it to have my espresso ready at 6:45 tommorow lol

    How are you getting 49MB?

I have 37, never got higher than 38 and that was briefly on .90 (briefly, due to VSOD)

    Thanks!!

    Quoting tagline for a sec...

My tip to you: Disable Compatibility Mode
Close App > Options > Advanced Options > Applications > Locate app > Highlight (do not click) > BB button > Click on Disable Compatibility Mode > Go back to home screen and relaunch app!

Sorry for the noob question... which apps are you referring to? ALL of them?

    Thanks!

On the hybrid I was booting up with 52.4. On the .114 I was booting with 52.2. On this I'm booting with 53.11. So, I guess that's one positive finding.
