I just recently got a blackberry curve 8320 and have it connected with our company's exchange 2000 server through the Blackberry Profession Express Software. Our company uses the exchange instant messaging software that comes with exchange 2000. It uses the Windows Messenger client. Is there anyway to use this system with the blackberry? It seems the msn client on the blackberry only uses public IM systems, not the private one we have. Any help is appreciated.

I tried to log on using the windows live messenger that comes on the blackberry, using the logon I usually use in my desktop client, and specifying the "other email address" option on the blackberry, and it would not connect.

The server has to have LCS (Live Communications Server) activated. If it does, then you can use said protocol on the BlackBerry...
