Does anyone know if it's possible to connect the Curve to a desktop and use the wifi option to basically make it into a wireless card for the computer? Similar to the modem tethering feature, but "wifi-tethering" instead.

How are you proposing to connect them??

The only two ways are via the USB cable or via Bluetooth. Both of those would be considered tethering.

So what do you mean by "wifi-tethering"? The 8x30 models don't have WiFi.

Do you mean you want to use your wifi on your blackberry as an internet source for your PC? As mama said, how are you going to hook up? Usb or bluetooth.
