I have a friend with a Verizon Pearl who needs to update her OS. Since she is a Mac user, I was offering to help using my PC. However, I already have Desktop Manager set up on my computer to sync my Curve to my Outlook. If I want to upgrade my friend's Pearl on my machine, will I be able to do so without mixing her phone's data with my computer's? I do not want to get as far as connecting her Pearl and watching it begin to sync our data together.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Anyone with experience in the matter?
Yes, you can sync hers on your PC. Desktop Manager will recognize the PIN. Not sitting in front of my PC at the moment, but look in DM and change whatever settings you need to change so that your friend doesn't get your email and address book.
I sync my Curve and Pearl and neither contain the same info.
