    Yeah, restore may help. Also your os install may be corrupt. Try a different download link to the one you chose and then install THAT one. I know they SHOULD be the same, but just try another and see if that helps.

    I lost my profiles when I upgraded to .174. Kinda annoying, but .174 has been running great ever since.

    Backups do not save Profiles. They never have. It a most annoying bug/feature of a Blackberry Backup. I have lost count of the number of times that I have reset my Profiles.

    Can you manually just backup and restore the Profile database? I haven't tried that yet.

    I think you can customize what you need to restore. Just initiate the process and see if you can or you cant.

    Besides the profiles missing, are the .174 working without problems?
    I have the .168 and i like to try the beta version, but you know, i have my doubts.

    I have always been able to restore my profile settings from a backup. Pete are you sure about that? What version of BDM are you using?
