It's implied by him offering his own conjecture as to the reasons.
At any rate, I think it's more that Verizon doesn't want to release an OS that will bring a lot of complaints their way, so they're sitting and waiting for "perfection."

Hopefully by the end of March! I know that you know that I know that there is a rumor saying that the Update will come out on March 31st! Personally I think that we're very close to getting an update since the 9500 got an update! I hope I'm right!!!!

Let me rephrase my original question....
Whats the difference between the 9530 and 9500 that one of them keeps getting upgrades? Is it a carrier thing or a hardware thing? I don't really care when, but I would like to think more 9530s have been sold than 9500s.

AT&T reps are as apt to know about a release as VZW reps.

There was a signature line someone used which stated "You know how to tell if a VZW rep is lying? Watch their lips. If they're moving, they're lying"

Well for my .02 it would make business sense to release an update tomorrow if they possibly can. With the new iphone thingy being released on the 17 makes sense to release your update to avert anyone who may jump ship because of the issues caused by the os. Update the phone potentially keep a customer. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

I'm not sure there'd be too many BB owners jumping ship for the iPhone. They serve two different markets. I like the idea of an update sooner rather than later but I'm afraid we're all at the mercy of VZW.

At least the latest hybrid brings hope.
