I am new to this Blackberry thing. I have the Pearl 8130 and I know that on the Curve there is a feature to make the phone go into a standby mode to save on the battery, etc. Is there such a feature on the Pearl? Any help appreciated.
Please share any ideas that may be of benefit to me as well...thanks.
The silver panel at the top of the phone is a button. It's the mute button while in a call, but while in the home screen, it will put the phone into standby.
Also, if you have a holster, the case that came with the phone, or
some other carry method with a sleeper magnet, that will
accomplish the same thing the second you put the phone in it.
