Ya .109 had GREAT battery life for me. I can't comment on .114 because my house and car got broke into last night and needless to say I was on the phone all day.

Sorry, this is my first time making a hybrid, to get the .109 .113 .114 mix we follow the original instructions in this thread and then replace the radio file from:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.109_P4.0.0.136\CDMA\rim0x04001404.sfi
with the one in the .114 folder?

this is what im currently doing:
copy & paste the .109 radio file ( C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.109_P4.0.0.136\CDMA\rim0x04001404.sfi) to my desktop
Just saying.. But the radio file I believe for .114 is a LOT better then the one in 1.09, my internet and tethering speeds are much improved, up to two times as fast actually.
wow...the selection tool is dope!..u touch for a second and comes up.....everything seems pretty tight so far......didnt loose any my backup like people have claimed...accelerometer seems a little laggy gonna reboot and hopefully it fixes it
edit....the description above is for 113/114 with 109 radio if people missed that in my previous posts

I got around 1000kbps max with speedtest.net, averaged at around 950 kbps.
I usually only get 400 kbps max.. Also, the browser, everything seems to load faster, I was assuming the connection speedups were due to the radio file (connection the servers.. etc).
