Ya .109 had GREAT battery life for me. I can't comment on .114 because my house and car got broke into last night and needless to say I was on the phone all day.

I'd imagine you would need data. Then again a BlackBerry without data is as useful as a plane with no wings.

Just wanted to reiterate my findings:

    Tried .109 radio / keyboard file + .114 = Awesome accelerometer & .114 goodness

Tried .113 java + .114 = Faster accelerometer than .114, but no where close to the snappiness of .109

    Lastly, tried .113 java + .114 + .109 radio = Holy moly fast accelerometer & .113 + .114 goodness! (though I'm not sure what the addition of .113 onto .114 gives)

So my vote goes for adding .109 radio to whichever you want, and I think you'll be very happy campers

Sorry, this is my first time making a hybrid, to get the .109 .113 .114 mix we follow the original instructions in this thread and then replace the radio file from:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.109_P4.0.0.136\CDMA\rim0x04001404.sfi
with the one in the .114 folder?

this is what im currently doing:

    copy & paste the .109 radio file ( C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.109_P4.0.0.136\CDMA\rim0x04001404.sfi) to my desktop

    uinstalled .109

install .113 and .114 then follow the instructions in this thread:
    http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/in...hybrid-180697/

and then copy & paste rim0x04001404.sfi in to the CDMA folder of 114
    b4 you install

i am pretty sure this is the correct way...ill be done in about 20 so ill let you know how it turns out!

can anyone confirm what i am doing is correct? thanks!

Just saying.. But the radio file I believe for .114 is a LOT better then the one in 1.09, my internet and tethering speeds are much improved, up to two times as fast actually.

I got around 1000kbps max with speedtest.net, averaged at around 950 kbps.

I usually only get 400 kbps max.. Also, the browser, everything seems to load faster, I was assuming the connection speedups were due to the radio file (connection the servers.. etc).
