they are comparing the $29 case to the price of the parts for the phone if your were to scratch or break any parts of the phone. I myself have the innocase II as well, and like it very much
I plan on buying another one I like it so much. I would easily pay 50 for this case if I had too. Seidio is great. The poster above was correct too...mine doesn't snap together either...but it doesn't matter because I take the bottom clip off so I can put it on my charging dock

you're already paying upwards of $300 for a BB anyway right?
Why not spend another $30 or so to keep it intact? I've skipped buying cases for lesser phones and I was still PO'd when I dropped my RAZR on the concrete after passing up buying a case for it...
This has been my favorite BB hard case so far. I went through a bunch of cheap crappers with my 8320 (probably spent more than $30 on those), but decided to get a quality case for my 8900. I don't regret it at all, but cases are one of those personal preference things. They should sell these in stores so people could test them out before shelling out $30!
I jut ordered the combo and it should be here in the next day or so. Its pretty much what I was looking for so Im eager to check it out and see how I like it. Im sure I will.
I ordered mine with the holster. Simply for the fact that I was using the case that came with my 8900 but I always noticed I always had it in my hand when I was out of my car, being able to clip it on my belt and forget about it will make it much easier for me. While its obviously not required it depends on personal taste, if you just get the case and dont really think you'll want to carry it in your pocket then its probably a good idea to get the holster.
