I checked out SC and I think QL is better. Don't have to remember all of the da** shortcuts that I would create. With QL, just push a button, scroll and click. Really easy.
I love QL, but I also like the idea of double, tripple, and quadrupal convenience key cliking. IMO the QL menu gets cluttered and I have to scroll forever.
I tried the ShortcutBerry. Lovely concept and extremely fast comparing
to my existing QuickLaunch app.
By the time I even try to find my application in the QL list, my
ShortcutBerry has launched my app. (It still takes some time to remember all the shortcuts, but they are intuitive as advertised. For now I just tried the easy ones like (ConvKey+) 'AB' for AddressBook and (ConvKey+) 'MP' for MemoPad).
So, ShortcutBerry is Quicker than QUICKLaunch!
Double tripple and quadruple concept is beautiful too. I just double
click the right conv. key and my BB is locked (after reporting the
locking by a nice and short vibration).
If you have a uSD card, set the 'Video Light' in options of your Video Recorder application to always on.
Then try (from anywhere) Conv.Key + F + L (For Flash Light).
The "Flash Light" will turn on. (Press ESC when you want to turn off your 'Flash Light').
Remember, your shortcuts stays with you if you upgrade your BB (to another one with trackball and keypad). These shortcuts are not like BB's original shortcuts that got changed without your consent.
I just purchased QL because all of the good things I hear about, I honestly still find shortcutberry much quicker and faster. Quicklaunch is quite slow IMHO

Downloaded and tried it.
What a clever idea of introducing multiple click shortcuts to side keys.
I love the double click and lock feature.
It is also nice that I don't need to browse to select an application. That is why the ShortcutBerry is so fast.
Took some time, however, to find out that I had to start typing or press a key before seeing the list. They should have mentioned this in their announcement.
Being a Quicklaunch user, I now consider using ShortcutBerry. Not that I did not like Quick Launch, but SC is extemely faster as I don't need to browse to get to my shortcuts.
Multiple convenience key concept is also a great idea as SC does not occupy my conv. key like the way QuickLaunch did.
I have already programmed the double click app for the left conv. key for my Garmin app.
I kept the double key click on the right side for locking my BB. Extremely usefull for a guy like me that has a Bold in pocket!
