UPDATE 03.10.09

Well I figured I would just update where I am on this theme.

Still working out getting all the icons skinned (running out of stripe ideas ), and just settling in on the app background. I will post some more pics tonight as I get further along, closer to at least releasing something you guys can try.

It's a hidden today theme, so if you have your calendar on the home screen you'll get the first four items at the top. Same with emails and SMS's. I'm still working out some of the focus icons, and the top I'm going to change, new battery and network icons.

I'm not set on the app screen BG yet either, right now it's the "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" album leathery BG, that I am debating right now.

So that's where I'm at, more pics tonight as I get things closer. Hope to have something in the next day or so for you guys to try. I just don't want a buggy theme out there if I can avoid it.

Any suggestions, please let me know.

I was gonna work on my first theme, probably a hidden today and thought I would do a VH theme. Not sure anyone would be interested but I'm doing it anyway. Good way to learn.

Homescreen may be something like this for a wallpaper, just kinda getting any idea out there.

They kinda were on the onset of the hair band era...Look at David Lee Roth, Eddy and Alex...they all had the long hair..

Most rock bands have long hair bro. Van Halen's first album was in 1978, years before the hair metal genre that came mainly from ripping them off. Most of them were just cheap (there were exceptions) imitations of what was genuine from VH.

Anyway off my soapbox, here's what I've started. Obviously I'm going to change the top a bit more, I may change the focus stuff. Right now it's a Hidden Today, I'm debating whether to do the every icon as a striped guitar pick, I'm running out of actual colors Eddie had so I'll just have to make some up. Will post more things as I get further along, but here's a start to the home screen.

I may have to clean the picks up a bit more, I'm noticing some pixelation that I don't like. But at least you have an idea of something.

Wow 28 times?? Damn and I thought the 14 times I've seen them was a lot. Only once with Dave though, was 13 and saw the 1984 show. I didn't actually go to the last tour without Michael Anthony, I was pretty bitter about how Ed treated him.

I'm still working on the theme, I'm getting there it's just I want it perfect before I throw it out there.

I will try to port it over once I get it set for the Storm.
