It seems like they have went over and beyond with keeping me as a Telus client. Of course, I'm not complaining but I'd like to know if I really do have a good plan.

-- 750 ANYTIME minutes (outgoing only, see next feature)
-- unlimited incoming calls (sweet!)
-- early nights and weekends (unlimited after 5pm)
-- unlimited text messaging (incoming/outgoing)
-- Caller ID, Voice Mail 3, Call Waiting/Fowarding
-- unlimited e-mail, IM, and web browsing

After taxes and system access fees, etc., it comes up to be $82 per month. ($40 voice + $25 data + fees/taxes)

In summary, I think I have whatever a smartphone can do to its fullest. Other than GPS navigation and downloads, I have everything. Unlimited calling, texting, and data use. I basically have 750 outgoing minutes before 5pm for a month, which is damn plentiful!

With that being said, is this indeed a good monthly rate plan? Am I paying too much? Or is there anything else I'm missing out on?

you do have a good plan...mine falls just short of yours with me only having 600 anytime minutes, and no unlimited incoming calls....then again mine's also 6 dollars less....so i wouldn't say executive plan...just a really good, plentiful one.

Not yet, I'll switch to a BB march 25th.

But my plans has unlimited long distance for 30$, so for the same prize the only difference are the talking minutes.

I think you have a pretty good plan. its very similar to mine, I have the my Faves 45 plan, $45 voice, i get

-- 450 ANYTIME minutes (+ 100 min free bonus)
-- Caller ID, Voice Mail 3 promo, free
-- incoming minutes, free
-- free evening/weekends starts at 5pm
-- 10 my faves regional numbers (nationwide unlimited text and voice)

For data, I got the cheap promo for $15
-- unlimited emails, IM, and web

I've been trying to get unlimited text messaging but they just won't give it to me :P, I pay $5 extra for 250 outgoing text (besides my 10 Faves). Most of my free features were rolled over from previous plans, I'm not complaining :P

So i pay $45 + $15 + $5, with taxes and etc.. I pay like $80 a month. I actually don't need all these minutes and want a cheaper price plan, but this plan seems too good to give up....

All this for $120 taxes and fees incl. We never go near our minutes anymore because we rarely use the phones to call people outside of our my faves. I had my storm for nearly a week before I actually made a phone call on it, we use them for email & IM constantly though, and I surf the web alot on my storm. Normal month of browsing for me is approx 1GB of data usage, which I understand is pretty heavy by Telus standards.

It doesn't sound that fantastic, I have the exact same plus unlimited data, but only 200 daytime mins, and no incoming calls and it's $49 with tax. Incoming calls is $15 extra, so still $64, so depends whether $18 or whatever it is is worth it for the 550 extra daytime minutes. Mind you my friend works at telus so I have EPP rate.

well if u have an executive plan it isnt very cheap... i have a plan thats gives me more than you and i only pay $74 after taxes n stuff, and i know for sure im not on any special executive plan

I had alot of problems with a rep so a senior rep gave me a great deal on a few things. I can't get unlimited incoming I've tried! lol!! they say on the 17.30 plan you cant get it. but i call after a few weeks so often and still try. lol!

As far as your "executive plan" not sure but either way it's better than what some people have but not much different than some.
