Do I have an executive plan? (Confirm please.)
- It seems like they have went over and beyond with keeping me as a Telus client. Of course, I'm not complaining but I'd like to know if I really do have a good plan.
-- 750 ANYTIME minutes (outgoing only, see next feature)
-- unlimited incoming calls (sweet!)
-- early nights and weekends (unlimited after 5pm)
-- unlimited text messaging (incoming/outgoing)
-- Caller ID, Voice Mail 3, Call Waiting/Fowarding
-- unlimited e-mail, IM, and web browsing
After taxes and system access fees, etc., it comes up to be $82 per month. ($40 voice + $25 data + fees/taxes)
In summary, I think I have whatever a smartphone can do to its fullest. Other than GPS navigation and downloads, I have everything. Unlimited calling, texting, and data use. I basically have 750 outgoing minutes before 5pm for a month, which is damn plentiful!
With that being said, is this indeed a good monthly rate plan? Am I paying too much? Or is there anything else I'm missing out on?Last edited by trinxified; 03-04-09 at 12:45 AM.
03-04-09 12:30 AMLike 0 - you do have a good plan...mine falls just short of yours with me only having 600 anytime minutes, and no unlimited incoming calls....then again mine's also 6 dollars less....so i wouldn't say executive plan...just a really good, plentiful one.03-04-09 01:01 AMLike 0

-- 450 ANYTIME minutes (+ 100 min free bonus)

-- incoming minutes, free
-- free evening/weekends starts at 5pm
-- 10 my faves regional numbers (nationwide unlimited text and voice)
For data, I got the cheap promo for $15
-- unlimited emails, IM, and web
I've been trying to get unlimited text messaging but they just won't give it to me :P, I pay $5 extra for 250 outgoing text (besides my 10 Faves). Most of my free features were rolled over from previous plans, I'm not complaining :P
So i pay $45 + $15 + $5, with taxes and etc.. I pay like $80 a month. I actually don't need all these minutes and want a cheaper price plan, but this plan seems too good to give up....03-05-09 11:29 AMLike 0 - Telus Plan

- Voicemail 10
- Caller ID
- Telus to Telus
- MyFaves5 Nationwide
- Free incoming

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com03-16-09 09:00 PMLike 0 - For $81, taxes and service fees in ($65 before), I've got:
$40 My Faves Student Plan
350 anytime minutes
Free evenings and weekends (after 6pm)
Free nationwide calling to My Fave 8
Voicemail 3, Call Waiting, Conference calling, Caller ID
$25 Unlimited Data
Unlimited web data, personal email, and instant messaging
Works perfectly for me - I don't get even close to maxing out anywhere, so I know it'll also work well for some time to come!03-17-09 11:37 PMLike 0 - 2 phone lines here, both BB's with data plans:
2500 shared anytime minutes
unlimited nights and weekends from 5pm on one line, 7pm on the other
both voicemail 3, call display, call waiting, conference calling
both national my faves (unlimited voice/txt nationwide to 5 numbers)
one unlimited text
one unlimited web
both unlimited email & IM
All this for $120 taxes and fees incl. We never go near our minutes anymore because we rarely use the phones to call people outside of our my faves. I had my storm for nearly a week before I actually made a phone call on it, we use them for email & IM constantly though, and I surf the web alot on my storm. Normal month of browsing for me is approx 1GB of data usage, which I understand is pretty heavy by Telus standards.03-23-09 03:42 AMLike 0 - It doesn't sound that fantastic, I have the exact same plus unlimited data, but only 200 daytime mins, and no incoming calls and it's $49 with tax. Incoming calls is $15 extra, so still $64, so depends whether $18 or whatever it is is worth it for the 550 extra daytime minutes. Mind you my friend works at telus so I have EPP rate.03-23-09 09:53 AMLike 0
- This is my plan.
Sweet Deal 25 - 6pm Night&Wkd
Added Services: 5pm early nights & wkds
Caller ID $7-3 years free
Voicemail 10 $7-3 years free
Personal Email, IM & Web 25
Messaging 250 $5-3 yrs free
Visual Voicemail Unltd 7.50
350 minutes between 7am and 5pm
free incoming calls
My last bill was $66.05 with $9.80 of that being Long distance.
I guess that is why they call it sweet deal.
I think the only thing that might not work for me is only 250 text msgs because it seems that Telus is now sending me all the people I follow on twitter berry;s msgs.05-13-09 01:15 PMLike 0 - I have 17.30 + 15.00 + 6.95+10.00=50 bucks give or take
I have 2 lines but my husband doesn't have a BB so our bills are seperated.
I have 250 daytime
night and weekends free starting at 5pm
unlimited text
My5 longdistance
caller ID
voicemail 10
call waiting
call forwarding to my home 1200 minutes
unlimited email, internet browsing text
Telus to Telus promotion
I had alot of problems with a rep so a senior rep gave me a great deal on a few things. I can't get unlimited incoming I've tried! lol!! they say on the 17.30 plan you cant get it. but i call after a few weeks so often and still try. lol!
As far as your "executive plan" not sure but either way it's better than what some people have but not much different than some.Last edited by sarfrazfamily; 05-14-09 at 02:15 AM. Reason: I forgot to add that i have telus to telus
